Work: Poisoned Bacon Gas
The randomised band name that I was given is 'Poisoned Bacon Gas'. Below is a powerpoint I created about my starter ideas for this project.
In this 2D version of my project I intend to develop a logo and posters, starting with initial ideas on paper, then move onto digital work.

Logo Development
I started thinking about making a typographic logo based on the 'Sex Pistols' iconic logo. I tried out different colour variations.
After this I branched out and decided to experiment with iconography instead of typography. I thought of the title of the band, and wanted to include a gas mask and add a pig element into that.
Digital Development:
Below is the design I have decided to stick with for my logo. I did a hand-drawn version as well as a digital one.
Experimentation
As my theme is 'indie rock' i wanted to explore what physical work i could do, so I experimented with spray paints. After that I put them under UV light to bring the vibrant neon colours out more. I also bought a Stop sign online and spray painted that as well, which in the end i think turned out great.
