Technical Skills:

Week one

Task 1: Create a portrait format, saddle-stitched (stapled) sketchbook. It should contain at least 20 pages and be no smaller than A5. 

Task 2: Create an A5, landscape format, stab stitched book. It should contain at least 12 sheets of A5 paper. 

Task 3: Create a perfectly bound book

Task 4: Mount a postcard behind a piece of A4 card

Task 5: Surface mount 6 postcards onto A2 card

Task 6: Flat mount a piece of coloured card onto foamcore

Task 7: Draw the outline of a perfect 45mm square onto the middle of a piece of A4 card

Task 8: Emboss a circle, square and a triangle onto a sheet of A4 card

Task 9: Cut out a perfect circle with a 55mm radius using A4 card

Task 10: Cut the word 'SHOP' out of grey card and mount it onto A3 white card

Task 11: Create your own cutting pattern on A4 card

Week two

Task 1: Create a 80mm long perfect cube, a 80mm x 60mm cylinder, and a 80mm x 70mm pyramid  

Task 2: Create a 3D capital R using Rockwell (extra bold)

Task 3: Experiment with surface patterns

Week three: Paper toy

Design a 3D paper toy based on your own appearance
