An audience in a wrestling match enjoy it for its over the top and exaggerative movements, just like an audience in a theatre performance. Roland sees wrestling not as sport but as a myth, saying that American wrestling represents a mythological fight between good and evil.
I personally agree that its not a sport and its more of a performance used for viewer entertainment.
